TEDxIIT founder is IIT alumna, Amy Lee Segami. She earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Mechanical Aerospace Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
As an engineer turned artist, Amy Lee Segami uses water as her canvas to create her uniques signature Paining On Water™ which has received numerous awards. She was invited to be a speaker at the inaugural TEDxPeachtree at Atlanta in 2009.
Shortly after, she founded TEDxIIT at her Alma Mater, Illinois Institute of Technology to showcase the talents from IIT whose ideas are worth spreading. The inaugural TEDxIIT was launched in 2011.
